In a peer-reviewed study, scientists at Penn State University examined the hydration efficacy of GoodSport® compared to water and Gatorade, a leading sports drink. Hydration was assessed using established physiological measures including urine output, fluid balance, and the Beverage Hydration Index (BHI).
GoodSport® achieved a significantly high BHI score of 1.54, indicating greater fluid retention and better hydration compared to both water and Gatorade under controlled conditions.
